Bluvli Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and DuoDevApps (“we”, “us”), the maker of Bluvli (“Bluvli”). They apply to the Bluvli app for iPhone and iPad, its Apple Watch app, widgets and share extension.

By using Bluvli, you accept these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies (see section 13).

2. What Bluvli does

Bluvli shows your pregnancy week by week: the baby's development and your body's changes, as general facts from cited sources. It helps you plan what comes with it: tasks, lists such as the hospital bag and visitors, appointments and your questions for them, the things you need, and your memories. When you add a letter, a screenshot or a document, Bluvli reads it on your iPhone and suggests dates and tasks for you to check. Bluvli Plus adds what's listed in the app at the time you subscribe.

Bluvli works on your device without an account. We keep improving Bluvli, so features may change over time; the free features in section 7 stay free.

3. Not medical advice

Please read this section carefully.

• Bluvli is not a medical device. It doesn't diagnose, treat, monitor or prevent any condition, and it doesn't replace your midwife, your doctor or any other health professional.
• General information, not about you. The weekly facts describe what is typical at each week, from the sources shown with each fact. They don't describe your pregnancy or your baby, and many healthy pregnancies differ from them. Dates and weeks in Bluvli are worked out from the date you gave and are estimates.
• Suggestions you check. Dates and tasks Bluvli finds in what you add can be wrong. Nothing is added until you check it; always rely on the original letter or on what your health service tells you.
• Your health service comes first. If a health professional has told you something, follow it over anything Bluvli shows. Bluvli never interprets symptoms.
• Not for emergencies. If you're worried about yourself or your baby, contact your midwife, your maternity service or your doctor now. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US). Bluvli's Help and support pages say when to seek urgent care, quoting official sources for your country.

4. Who can use Bluvli

Bluvli is for people aged 16 or over. It is not directed at children under 16, and they must not use it. If you enter information about other people, such as the names of those you share tasks with, you confirm that you are entitled to do so.

5. What you add and what you send

• Your content. What you write, add, photograph or scan is your responsibility. Only add documents and images you're entitled to use.
• Sending. When you send a message, a list, a task or an image through the share sheet, it leaves Bluvli and goes where you choose. We can't recall it, and the terms of the app you send it with apply. A shared image can't be recalled.
• Links and Things. Links you paste into Things are your own notes. Bluvli sells nothing and earns nothing from any shop, and we aren't responsible for other websites or what they sell.
• Keep your own copy. Your data lives on your devices, not with us. If you lose or reset your iPhone without a backup or an export, we can't restore it. Export your data from time to time if you want your own copy (Settings › Your data).

6. Acceptable use

Bluvli is made to accompany a pregnancy. Please don't:

• use Bluvli unlawfully, or to harm anyone;
• interfere with Bluvli, get around its security, its Plus checks or its limits, use bots or scrapers, or copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
• copy or republish Bluvli's weekly content, illustrations or texts outside your own personal use;
• sell, rent or sublicense Bluvli or access to it.

7. What stays free: our promise

Bluvli Plus is optional. These features stay free, always:

• This week, every week: the size, the baby, your body, the sources, and sharing a card
• Your plan and your lists: every template, the bag, labour, visitors
• Appointments and questions
• Things: what you need, have and were given
• Captures: saving everything, reviewing by hand, and 30 automatic reads a month
• Memories of your pregnancy: bump photos, the simple time-lapse, letters
• Pausing Bluvli, exporting and deleting, also after Plus ends

If you stop paying, everything above keeps working, and your data stays yours. No ads: we don't sell your data or share it for advertising. This is version 1 of our promise (16 October 2026). If this list ever changes, it will only grow.

8. Bluvli Plus subscriptions

• Plans. Bluvli Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription, yearly or monthly, sold through the App Store. The App Store shows you the price, in your currency and with taxes, before you confirm. Prices may differ between countries. What Plus includes is shown in the app before you subscribe.
• Free trial. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for eligible users (usually people who haven't had a Bluvli Plus trial before; Apple decides who is eligible). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged. Bluvli can remind you before the trial ends.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price in effect then, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges the payment method of your Apple Account; we never receive your payment details. Before a yearly plan renews, Bluvli can remind you 7 days ahead (Settings › Bluvli Plus).
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel in Bluvli (Settings › Bluvli Plus › Manage subscription), or in your iPhone's or iPad's Settings › your name › Subscriptions (or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions). Plus stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting Bluvli or your data doesn't cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Apple sells the subscription, so Apple handles refunds and any legal right of withdrawal under its own terms: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. This doesn't affect your rights as a consumer.
• Price changes. We may change the price of Plus for future periods. Apple will tell you before a change applies and, where the law or Apple's rules require it, ask for your agreement. If you don't want to continue, you can cancel before the new price applies.
• Family Sharing. Plus can be shared with your Apple family through Family Sharing. Apple manages who in your family receives it.
• After Plus ends. Nothing you made is lost: your plan, your questions, your photos and your videos stay. The free features in section 7 keep working.

9. Your content and our intellectual property

• Your data stays yours. You keep every right to what you enter in Bluvli. It stays on your devices; we don't receive it (see the Privacy Policy).
• Bluvli is ours. The app, its design, texts, illustrations and weekly content, and the Bluvli name and logo belong to DuoDevApps or its licensors. The sources cited with each fact belong to their owners. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Bluvli on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, under these terms and the App Store's rules. Some components are open-source software under their own licenses.
• Ideas. If you send us feedback or ideas, or report a problem with a fact, we may use them to improve Bluvli, without any obligation to you.

10. Our responsibility

• We build Bluvli with care, but we can't promise that it will always be free of errors, that its content will always be complete or up to date, or that what it reads from your documents will always be right.
• If you are a consumer, you have the legal guarantees for digital content and services under Spanish law (the consolidated General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007) and EU law. Nothing in these terms limits them.
• We are responsible under the law for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a liability that the law doesn't allow us to exclude or limit.
• Otherwise, and as far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Bluvli helps you plan; decisions about your health and your pregnancy remain yours and your health professionals' (section 3).

11. Ending the agreement

• You can stop using Bluvli at any time: delete your data in Settings › Your data, delete the app, and cancel any subscription in your Apple Account settings.
• If we ever stop offering Bluvli, we'll tell you in advance, at least 30 days ahead where possible, so you can export your data.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We'll update the date at the top. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or on this page before they apply. Changes don't apply to the past. If you don't agree, you can stop using Bluvli and cancel your subscription before the changes apply. Our promise in section 7 can only grow.

13. App Store

Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of Bluvli. These terms are between you and DuoDevApps, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Bluvli or its content, maintenance or support, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the EULA. Where the EULA and these terms differ on your license to use the app, the EULA applies. Nothing in the App Store's terms or in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

14. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your place of residence.
